It’s been so quiet here recently, and it’s only been because we’ve been working hard on Pixel Lincoln. We’ve made a ton of progress since the last updates and things are starting to come along really well. Hopefully we’ll have some images to show soon enough.

Other than PL, we’ve been working on some small iPhone stuff and more Knights of the Wrong Table comics (Marty actually finished a bunch, we just need to post them). We’ll start actively posting again, and start some new columns for the new year. One that we’ve been tossing around is “Things Cut From Pixel Lincoln”. We’ve already had to make a ton of cuts. Some were just items or enemies, some were bosses, and some were even entire levels. You will see some really bad ideas that we’re just a quick thought, and some fully fleshed out ideas that just didn’t make the cut.

New comic!!! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh!

So it’s been really busy over here. Finishing up the last few weeks of basic level art on Pixel Lincoln, and still getting settled into our new place. Expect some updates and info on all that soon.. but Marty’s been cranking out the comics. This is another surprise for me, as we’ve never even mentioned this character before. He turned out awesome though.

Tonight we have part four of “The Party”, our ongoing Knights of the Wrong Table miniseries. Last week the group obtained some cheap weapons and this week they get to use them. Sort of. Also, we get to see another comic version of a member of our game design team.. Nick, our sprite animator (who you will soon know for his amazing Bandotron animations) is starring as the peasant that gets into it with Sir Casts-A-Lot.

The epic miniseries will resume in a few weeks.

Next week we get back to the good old knights.

So Marty added a post where he will draw you in the Knights of the Wrong Table style for just $5! I’ve seen the first one and it’s so worth it. He’s also drawn me and a few of our team members as parts of the comic and they’ve turned out really, really awesome too.

Side note: This is the first issue with multiple new knights, and a non-traditional title. The # of knights is getting up there and in a few weeks we’re going to release a second comic based on a knight we’ve already seen. We’re still going to continue with new knights, but some are ready to come back. This one is pretty awesome too.

Working really hard to meet deadlines for Pixel Lincoln and totally forgot it was Thursday. We all kind of lost track of time by not leaving the studio much for the past few weeks.

So I was really happy when Marty just sent over Sir Lost-A-Lot. This is a character never discussed before, so I got to experience it from the other side. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
