Scenario Setup

Setup

Some Chapters have scenarios. These have a Scenario Setup section which lists the Threat A and Objectives B to be used for that particular scenario, as well as a number of scene cards the Threat will capture C from the top of the Deck.

Campaign Progress

If a chapter includes a scenario, you must win that scenario in order to complete that chapter and progress. Once you win the scenario, fill in the circle that matches the completed scenario on the Campaign Log card.

Campaign Progress

If you fail a scenario, fill in one of the squares corresponding to the current chapter on the Defeats tracker of the Campaign Log.

Defeats

Then, you may replay that scenario again. If you have filled in all 3 defeats corresponding to the current set of scenarios then you no longer track defeats for that set of scenarios. You still must win the current scenario to progress.

Difficulty Reduction

If you have logged 3 defeats corresponding to the current set of scenarios, for the remainder of those scenarios, during setup you may choose to reduce the starting captured cards to 0.

Difficulty Reduction

Chapter Unlocks

Once you complete a chapter you gain its Chapter Unlocks. If a chapter does not have a scenario, any Chapter Unlocks are gained as soon as you finish reading it.

New cards, stickers, and rules may be unlocked as a reward.

Whenever anything is unlocked, if it has a symbol, fill it in to show that it is now unlocked and available.

Chapter Unlocks

Note: Building stickers are unlocked at various points during the campaign. These change the appearance of your Empire Card but have no gameplay effect.
